The new 2019 Subaru Ascent, biggest Subaru SUV is here. The Ascent is family sized with flexible seating for up to eight passengers, standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and an EyeSight Driver Assist Technology that comes standard. During time, Subaru has improved the small SUV with the Forester, offering a fuel-efficient, spacious model which stands out in a crowded field. We hope that all the lessons learned there will be translated to this larger model that is tasked to keep Subaru families from outgrowing the brand’s offerings. From remote starting to a wide variety of Thule tracking accessories, your Ascent will be ready for anything. Subaru’s new midsized three-row, seven passenger SUV goes on sale in June, and competes with the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander.
The Ascent will be powered by an all-new 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to a continuously variable transmission. Subaru’s EyeSight suite of active safety features, including forward-collision warning and automatic emergency braking, will be standard. EyeSight monitors traffic movement, optimizes cruise control, and warns you when you’re swaying outside your lane. In emergency situation, the pre-collision braking feature can even apply full braking force and it can also bring you to a complete stop.
